Memory Care

Our Memory Care Neighborhood is a specially designed unit intended to meet the needs of residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. While incorporating a person centered care approach, individualized activity programming, and consistent staffing assignments, we can enhance the quality of life for our residents living with the Alzheimer’s and Dementia diagnosis.

Our fully secured unit is tailored to allow residents to receive care in a safe environment, from specially trained staff. The unit consists of private and semi-private suites, with multiple common areas where residents can socialize in a calm and structured environment. Specialized activity programming is scheduled to offer cognitive stimulation, the opportunity to connect with others, comfort, relaxation, and more. We also encourage physical activities and exercises that are important for maintaining physical strength and balance, and benefit the mind too.

Every aspect of our Neighborhood has been carefully modified from the viewpoint of our residents for safety and a feeling of security. We provide person centered care in a warm, home-like atmosphere, and focus on the residents’ remaining abilities, not on what they have lost.
