Veterans Day Parade at Hudson Nursing Home

Heritage of Hudson loves to honor those who have served our country. This year we decided to do something very special for our Veterans and residents. Our fantastic activities department and facility staff were honored to host the first-ever Veterans Day Parade inside the facility!

Residents and families lined the halls and proudly cheered on our Veterans as they passed. All residents were invited to attend, and many residents personally thanked our Veterans for their dedicated service to our country. Heritage of Hudson truly appreciates the sacrifice our Veterans have made and wanted to create a special event just for them.

Our master of ceremonies, Brad (a first responder), led the way equipped with flashing lights, followed by our Veterans. We all enjoyed cookies and drinks afterward as we celebrated such a special day. All Veteran residents were awarded a personalized certificate thanking them for their service.
