A Special Holiday at Hudson Nursing Home
September 19, 2019Martha Marsh Day Celebrated at Heritage of Hudson!
Heritage of Hudson was very proud to celebrate Martha Marsh Day on September 15th! This is a publicly recognized day for one of our very own residents, Martha Marsh. Last year the mayor of Hudson, David Basil, decreed September 15th to be forever known as "Martha Marsh Day."
Mayor Basil was in attendance this past weekend, and the residents and staff of Heritage of Hudson celebrated with Martha. We all enjoyed ice cream and a proclamation from the mayor. Martha was recognized for her extensive volunteer service to the community of Hudson for more than 65 years.
Martha has been a resident at Heritage of Hudson for about 18 months, and she enjoys several of the craft activities that our staff provides. Heritage of Hudson is honored for Martha to call it home, and we look forward to celebrating Martha Marsh day every September 15th for now on! Congratulations, Martha!
